Flash ethnography is a story compressed into short form, told beginning to end in roughly 750 words. Since 2020, I’ve collaborated with dozens of other ethnographic writers to imagine what this genre can be, to write into the possibilities of brevity, to offer the power of ethnography to the world in a new way.
